We have reached the point in the watch that I am constantly refreshing the page on COVID updates to see how much longer I have to keep watching this movie.

• Suyin is the only character that I trust.
• “There’s a monster and it’s watching us” It’s me. I’m the monster. I’m the one watching this movie over and over again. I’m the monster and I’m doing this to myself.
• This movie suffers from emotional whiplash. At one point DJ begins free-styling, and within the same emotional breath Zhang says the line “We did what people always do – discover and then destroy.”
• 47 Meters Down is another shark movie I’d rather be watching right now.
• I need you to know that my roommate and I made a pinky-promise that if the quarantine gets extended to May we’re both shaving our heads.
