Watch 18

To try and get myself amped for this watch (and the upcoming Watch 20 that unlocks the secret ending), I decided to try and spot all the little background details throughout this movie. Expect timestamps galore in this one.

• 1:06 – The green “Escape” sign on the hatch door is either another Finding Nemo reference, or a harbinger intended only for those who have watched this movie nearly 20 times. Get out while you still can.
• 8:00 – Jaxx has a gold lucky cat on their desk. This in no way protected anyone from upcoming life-threatening events
• 16:15 – There are adorable little models of the mini-sub and glider on the counter behind Mac
• 22:32 – Dr. Heller has a folder on his computer desktop labeled “Private.” His patients should feel so safe knowing their personal information is literally just a thumb drive transfer away
• 41:54 – Suyin has folders on her computers labeled “PasswordDirect” and “Bank Details ALL STAFF” which increasingly makes me concerned in regards to the security of Mana One
• 43:17 – It’s a nice touch that the photo of Zhang and President Obama is lovingly placed on the shelf exclusively dedicated to family photos.
• 44:40 – The fin on the roomba is still adorable
• 57:54 – (Pictured above) I’d like to believe this is the first thing actors see when the tranquilizers wear off and they find out they’re going to be in the next Fast & Furious movie.
• 1:27:19 – The Banana Boat that people are riding is most likely a reference to Jaws 4
• 1:42:36 – ‘Fin’ is still the perfect ending to a shark movie
