Watch 4

This was the crossroads watch where I debated whether or not I should quit before I got in too deep. I rationalized (probably not the best word to use in this situation) that nobody cares when you say you’ve watched a movie 4 times in a row. But when you say you watched a movie every day for x number of days? It’s still crazy but at least you’ve got commitment.

• It’s weird that Jason Statham entered the sub wearing breathing gear (as if he didn’t know if the air was safe), when his friends were already on-board and didn’t even look equipped with the same tech.
• Bless Morris for affirming that anyone who’s blown up a whaling vessel is worth hiring.
• At no point in this movie does anyone comment on whether or not Jason Statham is getting paid and now I’m worried his character is putting his life at risk and he’s not even getting benefits.
• The only thing you need to know about The Meg is that at one point they literally jump the shark with another much larger shark
• Why does everyone in this movie want to set up Suyin with Jason Statham? I’m surprised her dad didn’t use his final breath to tell her to get some.
